Hai, gaiz~! Twilli and I were super hyped about making a Halo Reach machinima back last year before the game came out, but when it did, we were all a-flutter with excitment for the game and this little idea was more or less forgotten about. However, quite recently, it has come to my attention that I want to start filming and Twilli seemed to have caught on the idea.

We've been speaking about a couple of things, we more or less have written the first few "episodes" of this production if you will, but then we thought: that's not fair. It's a film about a community, our community. So who better to write this then the people? We may just release scripts right here, on this forum, then give you guys the free will to create your own lines, suggest your own ideas, and more or less make this film a whole site project other than just Twilli and I sitting in one dark corner exchanging amused glances and scrawling notes onto a piece of coffee-stained paper.

I know you guys may or may not play / like / own Halo: Reach, infact, I'm pretty sure it's only Twilli, Dan and I that are overall interested in the game, but you don't have to be to get involved. Here, we have six people we thought *at the time* were the most active, prominant people on the site. That'd obviously be Twilli and I, then in no particular order, Nicola, Aura, Jake and Daniel. However, seeing as Volcan is an honourary member and our newest friend Quinn is here, I'd like to add those two as well (keeping in mind this was months and months before Christmas, almost a year ago).

Anyways, this is the armour Twilli and I have thought best suited you guys (in particular I arranged everybodies armour - currently, I know Dan is happy with his armour and I need to speak to Twilli about his). If you feel you don't like anything about you, anything at all, speak to me about it here. On the note that I know you guys don't all play Halo, I don't need you to tell me that you're unhappy about your Hazop CNM-I helmet or your Tactical/Assualt Chestplate, just tell me what you have a problem with and describe something you'd rather have, like, I don't know... something with more spikes or something cool and tech-looking, I'll be happy to find something to suit your needs. I'll quickly explain what you can change.

(Just so you guys know, I did use the Halo Wiki for the names of weapons and such, and most of this isn't from memory. ^^)

Damnit Josh! I've already told you that isn't how I want my armor!

Yup, I know. The thing is, as these are hacked offline accounts, Waypoint armour isn't available. As a result, like, half of what you want is locked. CQB, Military Police and relevant upgrades are locked, UA/Multi-Threat chest is locked and Blue Flames are locked. Sorry, but that's the closest I could make it. Unless you want to seriously revise your armour.

I thought you already said you were filming online..? And don't you have to for 90% of the scenes?

Edit: And now that I properly look through my little bio, I also hate the Assault Rifle as well.

Hell, it's barely on my service record, with DMR/Sniper Rifle topping every list, except for custom......

Here Josh, just for reference if we want to base some of my character on my actual preferences.

Maybe filming online, but not for 90% of the scenes, more like 30%. Most of the offline stuff is just character scenes, only battles honestly need to be filmed online. Even then, in that percentage of online scenes, if you have CQB, how're going to have it in the how many percentage of offline scenes? You can't just switch helmets to talk to people.

Eh, it's your spartan, have whatever you want. But the snipper is for Dan. How about, DMR and Splazzer?

And I'll look at dem preferances later - oh, and, I take it you don't want this armour. But you can't haz any Waypoint stuff for reasons explained. So, what do ye want?

Well, it's not like Bungie gave us huge knee pads to work with, so I'm just keeping as is.

Pshaw, I don't know anything about Halo. XD I've tried out a few multiplayer battles, but I am absolutely sucktastic at first-person shooters. You can add me if you want to, but keep in mind that you'd pick out the armor and whatnot, seeing as I can't.

Still, sounds like fun. I like Josh's pink suit. *snicker*

For the script things, what were you planning on doing? Are there any particular sub-plots, or is it just a bunch of people talking to each other?

You don't honestly need to know anything about Halo~! You don't have to suck in the machinima, as practically, it's real-life in there and not a game. And yeah, I'd pick out the armour. Like I did for Jake and Nicola and Aura, bar Dan and Twilli who obviously have prior knowledge.

Not so much a bunch of people talking. We do kinda have a plot. Twilli wanted to go for an "aliens attack, we kickass, help good aliens, save the day" kinda thing. I want to go for a survival plot and what would happen if we really did someday wake up as these futuristic super-soldiers, in multi-billion dollar suits and have no idea about anything and be oh god wat. I think we've made a good mix, and because you don't really need any knowledge of Halo to write out a plot concerning yourself in this situation, I think it'd be a good thing to have everybody write.

Oh, and there are a bunch of sub-plots. And a certain one involving Nicola. Which I'm not at liberty to speak about. >.>
