Jake's Wild Encounters In Viridian Forest!

[Nicola]

Pikachu, bursting with pride, turned to grin at its trainer, but was interrupted by Rattata's Quick Attack. Wanting to do well for Jake, Pikachu let off a really strong Thundershock attack and landed a fairly good hit.

Pikachu: 70%
Rattata: 15%

[Jake]

Jake's mouth dropped into an O shape, in a mixture of excitement, happiness, and shock. "AWESOME!" Jake cheered. "That was wonderful! Use thundershock one more time, Pikachu! End this!" Jake said, obviously proud of Pikachu.

[Nicola]

Pikachu, in its joy, let off one last Thundershock, creating a huge bolt of electricity that blasted the Rattata flat.

Congrats, Pikachu gained 3.5 EXP and 10 Happiness (7, because of the Double EXP bonus)!

[Jake]

Jake bent down and high-fived the Pikachu. He picked it up and continued to walk. When he heard a ____ moan, he ran to see what's wrong.

[Nicola]

It was a wild Sentret, Female, level 9! It looked lost, but Jake couldn't really tell for sure. The little, furry Pokemon skittered up to Jake and looked up at him with large, pleading eyes.

[Jake]

Jake bent down to the pokemon and looked at it, and then to Pikachu. He released Absol aswell. Pikachu, happily seeing Absol jumped on his back. "Poor Sentret. Take me to the cause!" Jake said, as it ran off, Jake followed.

[Nicola]

Sentret ran through a few bushes with Jake and Pokemon following, and when the four of them emerged on the other side, Jake could see what was the source of the problem. Several Sentret were about, but the all seemed to be getting chased by Spearow about the clearing, ultimate madness ensuing. Two of the Spearow [Male, Level 8] noticed the Sentret with Jake and confronted him. The Sentret accompanying Jake looked startled and hid behind his leg.

[Jake]

Jake looked down at the small birds. "Absol! Pikachu! Take care of these bullying bird. Absol, quick attack! Pikachu, thundershock!"

[Nicola]

Absol used its speed to take care of the birds, Quick Attacking one and knocking it over. Pikachu used Thundershock on the other Spearow, doing a very large amount of damage because it was super effective! The birds then made their moves, each using Peck on one of their adversaries. The attack wasn't very effective on Pikachu.

Absol: 90%
Pikachu: 95%

Spearow 1: 75%
Spearow 2: 44%

[Jake]

Jake bent down and began to pet the Sentret. "Absol! Pikachu! Same attacks! I know your speed, dodge their attacks!"

[Nicola]

The Pokemon nodded and performed the same attacks on the same Pokemon. Absol sped forward and hit one of the Spearow with a Quick Attack. Next, Pikachu sent out a bolt of electricity and the Spearow fainted! Still determined to win despite his fallen comrade, the other used Peck on Absol.

Absol: 80%
Pikachu: 95%

Spearow 1: 50%
Spearow 2: [Fainted]

[Jake]

Jake stared. "Pikachu, come back." He said as the pokémon ran and pounced, landing on his head. "Absol, quick attack again!"

[Nicola]

Pikachu returned to its Pokeball as Absol shot forward with another Quick Attack. Mildly disappointed that Pikachu had been able to defeat its Spearow before Absol could, he tried to make his attack super-special and got in a fair bit of damage more than usual. The Spearow responded with another Peck attack.

Absol: 70%
Pikachu: 95% [Returned]

Spearow 1: 13%
Spearow 2: [Fainted]

[Jake]

"Good job Absol! One less Quick attack!" He said, picking up the Sentret and stroking it's fur.

[Nicola]

Absol, nodding to show that it understood the command, shot forward and slammed into the Spearow with its Quick Attack before the Pokemon could move. The Spearow fainted!

Congrats, both Kiken and Inazuma earned 4 EXP (8 because of the Carnival Double EXP bonus) and 10 Happiness!

Seeing their two strongest defeated, the rest of the Spearow scattered into the woods, terrified that they might be next. Sentret hopped out of Jake's hands, excited that it and its friends were now free of the plague of Spearow, and thanked Jake by producing a Pokeball in its paws for him.
