Jake's Wild Encounters In Viridian Forest!

[Jake]

Jake walked into Viridian forest, and looked around. "All right guys! Time to train!" He said. Jake wanted to get stronger, and catch a Pikachu. He knew there was a city on the other side of the forest, and in that city was a gym. Suddenly something went off in his head. "We're being watched...." He looked aroud and saw eyes.

[Dani~]

Jake was scanning the area for wild pokemon to train aginst, when suddenly a Weedle started crawling out of a bush who turned towards Jake with an angry face.

Weedle: Male LV 4

[Jake]

"Poliwag! Use bubble on that poison worm!" Jake instructed. He looked around... He was still scanning the area.

[Jo]

<sup>*ATTACK PHASE*

"Poliwag! Bubble Beam!" Jake commanded - Angel quivered slightly and simply stood shaking her head. Why wasn't she paying any attention to Jake? The weedle was slowly ebbing it's way forward to attack - it'd be here any second now! As soon as it caught up with the now white poliwag, it primed itself to attack. A poisoned dart flew from it's rear and dug itself into Angel. She cried and rolled backwards into Jake's ankle.

*BREAKDOWN*

Angel didn't move!
Weedle used Poison Sting!
It hit!

*RESULTS*

Angel: 77%
Weedle: 100%</sup>

[Jake]

"Angel!" Jake yelled in shock. "Try to move! Dodge it's attacks and use bubble!" Jake said, worried.

[Jo]

<sup>*ATTACK PHASE*

The weedle slugged forward for another attack - Angel shrieked and leapt sideways blindly. The Weedle raised it's lower abdomen, and shot a goopy silk from it's tail. The string shot hit partially, covering the Poliwags feet in stringy material. Angel was panicking wildly - she tried to move, but was rooted to the ground. Panicking and agitated, the Poliwag didn't attack.

*BREAKDOWN*

Angel didn't move!
Weedle used String Shot!
It hit!

*RESULTS*

Angel: 77% (Spd -1)
Weedle: 100%</sup>

[Jake]

Jake frowned. His hand gripped his trench knife just in case. "Angel! Try to move again! Use your strength and attack the Weedle with bubble, then dodge!" He instructed. This wasn't good.

[Jo]

<sup>*BATTLE PHASE*

Angel flailed - she was given orders to attack, and she tried her hardest to comply... The Weedle was so slimy and crawly! How could she ever hope to defeat it?! Dodge... then move and attack? Or attack then move and dodge..? It was just too complicated! Angel bounced about worriedly - and, for the very first time in the battle, rolled luckily into the Weedle and crushing it. The Weedle was too phased to do anything else.

*BREAKDOWN*

Angel flailed!
It hit!
Angel was hit with recoil!
Weedle didn't move!

*RESULTS*

Angel: 65% (Spd -1)
Weedle: 68%</sup>

[Jake]

Jake threw his hand up. "YEAH! Good job!" He cheered.  "Dodge it's attacks and use bubble!" Jake said. He gripped Absol's pokeball for back-up...just in case.

<sup>*BATTLE PHASE*

Okay. Angel breathed in deep through her small, pink nostrils. Okay... So, she had to dodge then attack? Clear and precise, right? Sucking in air, Angel began to breathe a sleugh of bubbles that popped dangerously when they fell in contact with the Weedle. It was actually working! The Weedle slithered backwards, spewing a String shot from it's rear blindly and missing. Clear, concise actions... and a loving heart was what Angel needed.

*BREAKDOWN*

Angel used Bubble!
It hit!
Weedle used String Shot!
It missed

*RESULTS*

Angel: 65% (Spd -1)
Weedle: 23%</sup>

[Jake]

Jake smiled. "Good job, sweetie! I'm proud of you!" He yelled. "Your doing good!" Then Jake thought of something. "Try to hit the Weedle, but don't make it faint!" Jake instructed.

[Jo]

<sup>*BATTLE PHASE*

Angel nodded. Not take it down right? It seemed easy enough a challenge... She spewed a new jetstream of bubbles, exploding on contact with the worm. They hit, but unluckily, took the Weedle with it. Angel's heart fell - she returned to Jake for her punishment.

*BREAKDOWN*
Angel used Bubble!
It hit!

*RESULTS*

Angel: 65% (Spd -1)
Weedle: 0% *FAINTED*

[Jake]

"Awh... That's okay, Angel! It's fine!" He said with a smile. "Come back, you need a rest." He said and returned her. Just then he heard a noise. "Absol!" He called out, and released his friend.

[Jo]

<sup>*ROLEPLAY*

Jake suddenly frowned. "Absol!" he commanded, releasing the disaster pokemon. It appeared, growling. It sensed something... disastarous. Suddenly, the skies turned grey and the light grew dim. The clouds drew closer and the tress beckoned forward. All without warning, a Shuppet swooped low and cackled maniacally above the groups' heads. Angel nearly fainted from shock! The Shuppet turned around, grinning darkly and began to hover towards Angel. Suddenly, what seemed like a hundred more Shuppet emerged from the bushes and surrounded the group! They swarmed inwards, floating slowly but trapping the group in a hazy circle. Angel was reduced to tears. Absol was panting from the pressure. Jake still frowned.

*CURRENT SITUATION*

Facing off with a hundred Shuppet...</sup>

[Jake]

Jake threw out all of his pokemon. "Absol, scratch as much as you can!" Jake yelled. "Angel! Use bubble on as much as you can! Pidgey, Poochyena, Aron and Castform, tackle as much as you can!" He instructed. "Dodge as much attacks as you can!" He yelled. He grabbed his crossbow and arrow just in case.
