On the road to Viridian City! (Jake's log)

Jake walked into the Pokemon Center at Viridian City. "Hey, Nurse Joy. Can you heal my Poocheyena?" Jake asked.

"Sure!" Nurse Joy said happily. She took the pokeball containing Pooch and walked over to the machine that heals them. Jake looked around. Their on the table was a brown backpack with a drill to go underground. "Wow! Nurse Joy, what's that?" Jake questioned.

"Oh that? That's an explorers kit! We're giving them out for free! With it you can go underground and look for sphears, jewels, and even stones!" She said, and held up a red orb. "Like this! This is a red sphere!" She said from behind the counter. Jake looked at it, then back to the kit. "So you're giving them out for free?" He asked.

"Yes sir! That's the last one until friday when our next shipment comes in." Nurse Joy informed. Jake looked at kit, and opened it up. Their was a lot of room. Room where Jake could store weapons....His hand suddenly went to the knife hidden in his belt. "Can I have this one?" He asked.

"Sure! Take it, and here! Here's Pooch." Nurse Joy exclaimed. Jake grabbed the bag, the pokeball and ran outside. He walked outside, backflipped onto the neon pokeball sign. He then jumped on the roof and started unloading his stuff into the kit. He looked around, pulled the hood up of his green cloak, put the pack over his shoulders and dove into the tree's.

Pokemon League
Make a short trip to the Pokemon League, only to be turned away by a guard who tells you to come back when you have eight badges. Make sure your character is a little bummed, or has renewed motivation.

Jake left the tree's of Viridian City, an saw a sign that interested him.

Pokemon League That Way

"Hmm...The Pokemon League..." He thought. "Let's do it!" He said and dashed off. Jake ran threw the grass as he saw the entrince to the Pokemon League. He opened the door, and walked in. The room was huge! Jake looked around. There was a Nurse Jenny, a shop, a PC box, and then a flight of stairs. Jake walked up to the stairs. He gulped and ran up to the top floor. He opened the door, and a police stood there. Jake walked up to him. "Nurse Joy needs you! She said someone stole some pokemon and ran off!" Jake lied. If the cop left, Jake could walk in without question.  The cop dashed off, and Jake looked at the door. The words "Once you enter this door, there is no turning back." Jake smiled. He opened the door and walked up to the trainer.

"Hi, I'm Will, " He introduced.  "Let me see your badges." The trainer added.

"Huh? I dont have any badges..." Jake said, confused.

"No badges? Get out. Sorry." Will informed. He turned Jake around and opened the door. Sad, Jake left the room. The cop was running back in. "You! Liar!" He yelled.

Jake was shocked, so he started running, and he jumped over the police men. He ran to the stairs and slid down the rail. "Well...that's a disapointment..." Jake said, bummed. He walked out of the Pokemon League and back into Viridian City. He looked over at the entrance to Viridian City Gym. "Well....Have to start some where." He said. Jake walked over and tried to open the door. Locked. "The gym leader here has been away for some time now..." An elderly man said.

Jake frowned. "OK..." He walked off and saw the path to Viridian City. "Well....We can always train." Jake announced, and called out his hole team. He picked up his Aron and Pooch. Pidgey jumped on his shoulder, and Absol followed behind. "This is going to be fun." He said.
