As you can see, I couldn't be bothered getting a Fire Stone for Eevee, so it has become an Umbreon. I'm debating over whether to switch Dusty with Entei when I catch it because Entei's a lot stronger than Dusty is, seeing as Sandslash isn't (to my knowledge) on the top 100 highest stats and Entei's in the top 20 I believe.

Oh, and I managed to win the Bug Catching Contest! I caught a Venonat on full health, no status conditions at level 14 I believe. It seems that the better condition they're in, the more points you can score which shows how some people can win with a Caterpie... Got a Sunny Stone for my efforts.

Well, Entei is what some experts call an 'Uber' so he Naturally would have better stats. Thats why in some Tournaments, they limit you to only one of either Suicune, Entei or Raikou. Also, they ban Lugia and Ho-oh from Tournaments among others.

As for the Bug Catching Contest, your right. The better the Stats + the more HP you left it are factors that are included when adding up your points. The Status Condition does not affect the outcome, so what I do is just paralyze whatever I'm catching and throw my Park Ball. It works every time now that my Pokemon outlevel whatever I encounter. 1st place = random ev. stone.
