Footsteps crawled silently where they were carried. Through the dusted Route towards Viridian City, they were walking - the target; the target of Team Shade. There would be laid to waste in preparation for a journey. The journey of all greatness. One that would change the world of Pokemon... forever....
"Hmph. I'm here..." muttered the brunette girl to herself. She crouched down along the side of the road where lush undergrowth and plant-life grew. Two men in uniform, with Houndooms tied to leashes, scuffled past as Brooke stayed hidden. She hid well. The officers of the law had nearly blinked out of view before the brunette slinked away into the trees.
Moments later, she reappeared at the city gate, with her three, released Pokemon by her side - Chikorita, Bulbasaur and Budew.
"Alright." she whispered to her companion's ears. "Carter is LATE, yet again, so we're going in alone. We may be weaker than the average trainer, but remember our secret move and our tactics for that move..." Brooke gave her Pokemon a grim smile. "Alright, Budew! You go do everything you can to contaminate organic-based food supplies, Bulbasaur, you try and crack through old, crumbling buildings, causing them to topple! Chikorita, you stay with me. I have a feeling we're going to have to fight our way through..."
The evil Pokemon grinned with malice, as they scattered to do thier bidding. Brooke sighed to herself. "This is going to fail if Carter doesn't show his arse up sooner or later..."
