Joshua and Daniels epic Pokemon Journey of fail Episode# 1

[Jo]

<sub>After his Pokemon Battle with Dusk Silverclaw, Joshua made his way back to Pallet Town to fulfill another arrangement - meeting a friend, named Daniel.

"Hey Joshua, over here!"

Called a familiar voice. Joshua turned his head.

"Daniel? Is that you?"

He asked, running towards a dirty boy weeding the lawn. Ok, he wasn't technically a boy, he was a half-fox, but still, they lived in a world of Pokemon, full of suprises.

"So, watcha doing?"

Joshua asked quizzically, leaning against the fence.

"I'm doing some chores, which is unfair as I want to spend time with this guy!"

Daniel said, pointing towards the Togepi on the floor that Joshua failed to notice.

"Heh, I've already trained up my Pokemon!"

Joshua boasted, pointing towards Tails and Mime.

"Woah, cool Pokemon!"

Daniel exclaimed.

"I don't suppose any of them are nicknamed 'The washing Machine Pokemon', right?"

Joshua looked at Daniel blankly. Dan sighed.

"Erm, d'you need help with your chores?"

Joshua asked. Daniel smacked his forehead and showed Joshua a list.

1. Hoover the house
2. Clean the dishes
3. Weed the Garden
4. Feed the Cats (Delcatty and Glameow)
5. Tidy your room
6. Clean the Living Room
7. Get some fresh food
8. Go get a new pair of running shoes

"T-That's a big list. Are you sure you are going to do all --"

Joshua was cut off.

"By myself, no. With you, yes."

Daniel interuppted, holding Joshua by the sleeves and throwing him over the fence, then dragging him into the house.

"Wha-? Chores?! NOOOO!!! Tails, Mime, HELP!"

Joshua pleaded to his Pokemon.

~Oh look, Tails, there goes Joshua.~

Mime said.

"Shouldn't we help him?"

Tails asked.

~Nah.~

Joshua slunk into a chair in the living room as Daniel fed the cats.

"Izzat all you're gonna do?"

asked Daniel. Joshua groaned and checked the list again.

5. Tidy your room

Guess it should be 'Tidy Daniel's room', but how'd his mum know he would have to clean his room? Joshua strolled up the stairs and opened a large wooden door with a silver handle attached to it. Joshua swung open the door to be met with row upon row of dirty clothes.

"HOLY CR--"

Joshua was cut off as a mountain of abandoned plushies (?!) fell on him. He plunged to the surface of the toys and gasped for air. It would take him years to finish this!

Joshua stood back. It took him half an hour, but he'd done it. The whole room. Done.

"Dan, I'm finished!"

Joshua called.</sub>

[Dani~]

"Righty then."

Daniel got up and walked over to Joshua.

"Now then, let's see."

Daniel crossed off another task and looked at it.

1.Hoover the house
2. Clean the dishes
3. Weed the Garden
4. Feed the Cats (Delcatty and Glameow)
5. Tidy your room
6. Clean the Living Room
7. Get some fresh food
8. Go get a new pair of running shoes

"Well lets get started"

Daniel and Joshua both said.

They each took a side of the living room, and Daniel pushed the sofa with Togepi still on it.

Huh?

Togepi asked Daniel in confusion.

"We're just tidying up the place."

Daniel replied to the small pokemon.

Joshua stopped and turned around at Daniel.

"So you talk to your pokemon aswell?"

Joshua asked Daniel.

"Yep...... Huh? Your pokemon are still outside ya know."

Daniel told Joshua.

"So they are! I'll bring them inside."

Joshua walked outside while Daniel carried on with the work. A couple minutes later and Josh came back in with his two pokemon next to him.

"Well here they are!"

Joshua said to Daniel. Daniel then walked over to Togepi and picked him up. He then placed him down with the other two pokemon.

The three of them didn't say a word to each other.

"Well, lets get back to work, eh Josh."

Daniel said to Joshua. Who just nodded and carried on with the work.

After 35 long minutes, they finished the task.

"Phew, that took some time."

Joshua sighed. Daniel then marked it off and looked at the next one.

[Jo]

<sup>"Food? Shopping?!"

Daniel squeeled. Being a boy... fox-thing he still liked to shop. Like a girl. However, Joshua hated shopping. And the last two tasks had something to do with it. He sighed.

"I'll get the shoes..."

Josh said grimly, reluctantly getting up and reaching for the door.

"C'mon, Tails. Mime."

Joshua called his Pokemon, as they bound towards the door.

"Your a size 6, right?"</sup>

[Dani~]

"I'm a size 7, not 6!"

Daniel squeeled.

"Let's go Togepi!"

Daniel picked up the small pokemon and held him in his hands while walking towards the door.

"Right, your taking the shoes and I'm taking the food. Right."

Daniel said to Joshua while leaving.

[Jo]

<sup>"Riiiiiiight."

Joshua and Daniel tagged along on the route to town, but split up when they reached the centre. Daniel headed towards the marketplace with open-roofed stalls and merchants - in search of a simple grocery - keeping in mind he only had 100 Yen to spend, as Joshua spied old Oak's lab. Then he got an idea.

"I'm sure Dan wouldn't mind me taking a detour..."</sup>

[Dani~]

Daniel was now at the grocery stalls with Togepi, he needed to get some food for home.

After around 10 minutes, he had bought some stuff with some money and turned around.

He now just has to wait for Joshua to come back with the running shoes.

"Hmm... I hope he gets the right size shoes."

Daniel said to himself.

[Jo]

<sup>Joshua leant up and pressed the button for the automatic door. He liked automatic doors. He repeatedly clicked the button over and over again. Door goes in, door goes out. Door goes in, door goes out. Door goes in...

~Uh, Joshua, are you sure you should be doing that?~

Mime told him sternly.

~You might break it.~

Joshua turned to his Pokemon. Mime suddenly jumped back and Tails was hiding behind him.

"Eh, don't worry, old and ancient Proffeser Oak is cranky, but not that mean!"

Joshua was a bit slow on the upcoming, noticing his Pokemon were staring behind him. Joshua swallowed hard.

"He's behind me, ain't he?"

Mime and Tails nodded. Joshua spun round, reluctantly.

Proffeser Oak was there, standing silent. He itched his head, and stared at Joshua. Silence. And then...

"DON'T YOU KNOW HOW EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT LIKE THAT IS, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR RUNNING ON A RESEARCH FUND?!?!?!"

Oak screamed, hitting Joshua round the head.

"Owie! I'm sorry! I'M SO SORRY!"

Joshua yelled, covering his head with both his hands. Oak calmed down and continued to scratch his head.

"I take it you want something from me?"

He sighed, finally. Joshua nodded.

"Yeah, you know that super secret candy you gave Eevee? I need another one! Well, not for me. For a friend."

"Oh really? What friend?"

Oak asked.

"W-Well, he's shopping at the moment..."

Joshua stammered, hoping Oak wouldn't think he was lying.

"Well,"

Oak groaned whilst yawning.

"I do have one right here..."

The proffeser reached into his pocket and pulled out a sweet with a blue candy wrapper. Joshua's eyes glowed.

"Ooo, gimme!"

Joshua said, snatching the sweet out of Oak's old hand.

"Hey, wait!"

Oak cried, bashing Josh round the head once more.

"Get me your 'friend', then I'll give you the candy."

Joshua sighed, and rushed off back to the square (which was only a couple of metres round the block away) and saw the figuire of Dan.

"Hey hey, Dan! Come here, quick!"

Joshua yelled, rushing back to the lab.

"I honestly don't see why we rush about the place all the time." Tails murmered to Mime.</sup>

[Dani~]

Daniel was waiting around the square when he heard a voice call for him.

"Hey hey, Dan! Come here, quick!"

Joshua was running back to the lab.

"Huh? Well I wonder what's going on. Let's go Togepi!"

Daniel ran over to Joshua with the shopping hoping that Joshua had got the new running shoes.
He ran over to Joshua and saw the Prof. standing there aswell.

"Huh? What's going on Josh?"

Daniel asked Joshua.

[Jo]

<sup>Joshua kneeled over and breathed deeply.

"Huff... Puff... I-I got him, Oak."

Joshua fell to the floor, exhausted. Tails jumped on him and decided he made a nice bed.

"Hm. Very good. I see you were telling the truth."

Oak replied. Joshua buried his face into the ground and murmered to himself,

"You mean to say he thought I was lieing all along?"

"W-What's going on?" Dan replied, shocked.

"Pri-Pri. Togepi?"
"Yeah. Why here?"

Oak answered by handing him a blue-covered candy.

"For Togepi."</sup>

[Dani~]

Daniel was confused, he didn't really know what was going on untill the Prof. handed him a piece of candy in a blue wrapper.

"For Togepi."

Oak said while handing it over.

"Well, uh, thank you Proffesser!"

Daniel said to Oak.

Togepi looked at Daniel and smiled and Daniel smiled back.

"I can be strong with that thing! Uh, I think."

The small egg pokemon squeeled.

"Yay! Hmm.... wait a minute. Joshua, why haven't you been and got my shoes yet?"

Daniel asked Joshua.

[Jo]

<sup>"No."

*****

Joshua turned to Dan.

"Erm, ahahahaha... TAILS GET OFF ME!!!"</sup>

[Dani~]

Daniel sighed and helped Joshua get back up.

"Well, seeing as I'm now here aswell, lets both get them."

Daniel waved to the Prof. and started to walk away.

[Jo]

"Sooo... know any good shoe stores? I really don't buy shoes often."

Joshua turned to Daniel, as they both wandered their way back through to the town centre. Daniel came to a halt, and stopped to wander.

"Hmm..."

He began.</sup>

[Dani~]

"Hmm..."

Daniel wondered.

"Well, there is one place I like to go to see loads of new shoes."

He said while pointing to the direction of the shop.

"But I'm not sure on if they are cheap enogth. But we can still see anyway!"

Daniel said while walking over in the direction he pointed to.
Joshua sighed and followed him with a 'How much longer will this take?' look.

Is that it?

Togepi asked Daniel.

"Uhh, no. It's that one."

Daniel replied to his pokemon while pointing to the small building next to the one Togepi said about.

[Jo]

<sup>(*gasp* Such poor spelling! It's "enough", not "enogth"! You must brush up on your spelling, Mr. Dannykins. Oh yeah, and I feel quite random, so don't blame me if it reflects in my RP.)

"Erm, right, I'll be waiting outside!"

Joshua called to Dan, who shook his head and entered the shop, with Togepi rolling behind.

"Sooo... with Dan buying the shoes, how 'bout a nice game of KILLER TAG 3000 X?!?!?!"

~What... the... heck...~

Mime retorted.

"Agreed."

Tails nodded.

"B-But Pokemon should listen to thier masters! Bad Pokemon! You need training! And I know just the person for the job..."

Joshua knocked on the door to Cindy's house. No reply. And again, with no reply. He was about to knock a third time when the door swung open, along with Cyndi gasping with excitment.

"Gasp! Joshy!"

She fangirlish-like screamed, embracing Josh in an obviously chibi moment.

"I've been wondering if you'd left already!"

"Ack! I... can't... breathe..."

Joshua choked.

"Oh sorry, Josh."

Cindy beamed, standing back. Joshua clutched his throat and gasped for deep, long breaths of air. After filling content with his daily amount of air (He wasn't going to breathe any more that day, due to the stench of perfume coming outta Cindy's house) he turned to Cindy.

"I need a favour."

Cindy gasped with excitment.

"You want to swoon me away on a magical unicorn?"

"Noo..."

"You want to buy me the whole of Toytown to say how much you love me?"

"Yea... No."

"You want me to tag along on your journey?"

"Of course."

Josh replied, being sarchastic. Cindy, being weak-minded, turned and shouted,

"I'll be right back!"

"WAIT! I need you to train Mime and Tails some manners!"

Joshua shouted back.

~You wanna WHAT?~

Mime barely gasped through his dry throat.

"You wanna WHAT?"

Tails managed to squeel through her dry throat.

"Gasp! You wanna what?"

Cindy squeeled through her fangirl scream - custom throat.

"Yes, I need you to help me teach Mime and Tails some manners..."</sup>
