Grace vs. Jake Pallet Town

Vulpix and Cyndaquil nodded. They would have to work together if they wanted to get out of this! Vulpix threw her head back and launched another Ember attack, hitting a Tailow that was about to Peck her from the sky! This stunted it's super effective attack, and as it was blown back by Ember, hit a Pidgey flying behind it! Pidgey number 2 however had snuck behind Vulpix and was charging groundwards in a tackle towards Pixie! It hit and sent Pixie skidding across the pavement, to be growled at by another Tailow! Pidgey number 3 was now about to tackle Cyndaquil, who dodged with ease as the Pidgey hit the pavement with a thud. The last Pidgey now was tackling straight for Pixie, and Cyndaquil jumped up and tackled Pidgey out the way before he could hit Vulpix. The Pidgey crashed to the ground, into a building and fainted. Congratulations, Cyndaquil earnt .5 EXP! The bird pokemon now flew up and Cyndaquil prepared to defend Vulpix, who was regaining her bearings and preparing herself for Attack wave 2!

Berri nodded her head in thanks at Jake. "Thankyou Cyndaquil, we owe you one!" Berri shouted over to him. Pixie looked to her for advice, the kept eye contact for about 40 seconds before Berri issued a command. "Pixie! Combine both of your firepower! It will be super effective!"

[Jake]

"Cyndaquil, tackle whoever you can, except Pixie, Me or Berri." Jake told him. He looked at Berri. "We got ya back!" He said with a wink.

[Jo]

<sub>(Eh, Grace, do you mean shoot Ember through Cyndaquils flame? And I don't mean to be trivial, but can you boost my reffing score? I mean, only if you think I earn it.)

Cyndaquil got ready as a Tailow came swooping down. It was using Peck! Cyndaquil tried to dodge but Tailow was faster, getting in a good super-effective hit! Vulpix stood weakly and saw the tailow pecking Cyndaquil, so leapt into Tailow and knocked him off! Another Pidgey decided to go for Cyndaquil, but got hit by a whack of Pixie's tail (Not Tail Whip, mind you)! It fell on top of the now weak Tailow, as yet another Pidgey decided to go for Cyndaquil. Same treatment with the tail for this Pidgey! The bird went skidding into the pile of already weak Pokemon and knocked out Tailow! Congratulations! Pixie earnt .5 EXP! Also, a small blue berry rolled out from Tailow's feather's. An Oran Berry! But who would get it? Amidst all the confusion, however, Pidgey 1 was behind Pixie with a tackle being planned. Poor Vulpix didn't notice the Pidgey behind her, but Cyndaquil once again, jumped up and tackled Pidgey out of the way. Congratulations! Cyndaquil earnt .5 EXP! Tailow now swooped down for a Peck on Vulpix, but recieved a fearsome Ember in return, crashing it into the pile of weakened Pokemon below. This also caused a Pidgey below to faint. Congratulations! Pixie earnt .5 EXP!

"CYNDAQUIL!!" He called. "Try and get that Oran Berry!" Jake called. "Then go with a full on Tackle!"

(I meant that Pixie and Cyndaquil should both use a fire based attack together, ofcourse sorry I forgot to put your score up! Ofcourse you've earned it!!!)

'An Oran Berry?!?!' Berri thought to herself.(A/N No pun intended...) "Great work guys! Pixie use ember and try a little more dodging, remember all the space around you!" She instructed "Oh and there's an oran Berry try and get it before Cyndaquil!!". Berri looked over to Jake and saw him looking determined. "We make a good team,Eh Jake?"

<sub>(Cyndaquil doesn't know any fire moves, and I was thinking it'd be hard to grab a berry in the midst of battle, so winner of the battle takes the Oran Berry, as an added bonus to make you more determined to win! Sorry for the shortish post.)

Vulpix decided the dodge and  attack method worked best for this situation. Tailow flew straight towards Vulpix, who dodged the Peck thrown at her and returned it with an Ember! Congratulations! Vulpix gained 1 EXP! Pidgey flew down with a reckless, last tackle towards Vulpix. It hit vicously, but luckily Cyndaquil knocked it off. Congratulations! Cyndaquil gained 1 EXP! From out of Pidgey's feathers rolled a Pokeball!

"Alright lets resume this battle, we won't attack while your not ready, so take your stances!" Berri said honourably. Waiting for Jake and Cyndaquil to get their minds back on the battle Berri issued her command. "Alright when they're ready lets kick this off with an fired up ember, we're working for a prize now Pixie!"

Jake smiled. "Cyndaquil, dodge, and use tackel!"

Cyndaquil growled and ran towards Vulpix, as the fox smiled and unleashed a fiery Ember, which the Cyndaquil dodged partially and sprinted towards Vulpix. Pixie squeeled as she was knocked flying and fell with a crash.

"Don't worry about it, Pixie!" Berri shouted over "Lets try again with an ember, rmember to dodge and give it our all, Kay?" Berri's eyes narrowed as she looked at Jake. She really wanted that Berry and Pokeball. "May the better person win Jake!"

[Jake]

Jake smiled. "I will. Cyndaquil, dodge whatever she throws, and use a strong tackle! You can do it!"

[Jo]

<sub>Vulpix used Ember. Cyndaquil used Tackle. They both faint.

Vulpix was very weak and fatigued, but determined to win. She cocked her head back and spat out a huge, fiery Ember towards Cyndaquil. This time, Cyndaquil couldn't dodge the blast and took a direct hit! He was very weak too, and now, even weaker than Pixie! Although, he still had his Tackle, which he hobble-sprinted towards Pixie in a final ram that knocked Pixie out!
