Dusk glared at Joshua. Curse him... curse him to hell!!!

"Nyura..." She said softly, just loud enough for her to hear. "Use scratch to make a hole in the bin so you can get out. Use your speed to make sure Mime doesn't close the bin again."

If that didn't work, then Dusk would have to create a distraction for Nyura... probably some Karate...

  Sneasel used a mighty scratch on the hard steel bin, but it was of no use.  The metallic trash bin was just too well built to even make a dent in.  Sneasel started feeling a little funny at that point.  Looking around to figure out what was wrong, Nyura came to the horrible conclusion that it was completely trapped.  Mime's Confusion, although it did not effect Sneasel directly, was keeping the trash bin pressed down completely, causing an airtight seal to form, effectively burying Nyura alive.  Nyura started to panic, trying desperately to Scratch its way out of the dustbin, but to no avail.

Joshua smirked to himself. This plan was going his way, but he wanted to be sure Nyura would be stuck under long enough for Dusk to forfeit. Of course, he'd never want to kill Nyura.

"Dusk, it looks like Nyura is trapped and cannot escape, and it is running out of air, so you might wanna forfeit before Nyura gets severly hurt. If you disagree, however, Mime will tighten the airlock and damage Nyura more until she is unable to battle. So, what is it gonna be?"</sub>

(Mental note: A Sneasel's claws are strong enough to cut steel as if it were cardboard)

Dusk's eyes tightened. Very stupid question.

"This." She said as she ran towards the Mime.

Dispite the fact that fighting types weren't strong against a psychic, Dusk was no fighting type. She was just a trained human. Quickly taking an attacking position near the startled Mr. Mime, she punched it in the face.

"Nyura! Flip the bin! Get the hell out of there!"

She only hoped that she'd broken the Mime's concentration.

<sub>Joshua jumped back.

"ACK! What the hell do you think your doing?!"

He exclaimed, furiously.

"Mime! Buddy, get over it and use plan two!"

A puzzled expression shot across Dusk's face. Joshua hid his confidence behind a faint smile. Possibly a sadistic grin.

"We were planning on knocking back Nyura if it escaped, or launch anything that got into our way towards Nyura, so it looks like you'll have to do. Mime, use confusion on Dusk to push her off balance slightly into Nyura and that dustbin."

That confused look quickly changed to a look of fear as Dusk heard the command. Joshua was kind of worried about doing this - after all, this was a human he was hurting. He saw his Mime clearly didn't want to do this either. And he didn't forget about the trapped Sneazel.

"Ok, fine! Get out of the way and we'll let Nyura out!"</sub>

(You punched the pokemon?  We've just reached a new low)

  Dusk ran up to Mr. Mime, who was concentrating completely on sealing Nyura in the dustbin.  The dustbin was shaking violently with Confusion's power for a few moments, when all of a sudden, the dustbin came to complete stand-still.  Mime had been knocked back completely by Dusk's mighty right hook, reeling backwards for a moment before regaining its composure.  Mime then refocused its attack and sent another Confusion attack on Dusk herself, causing the thief to fall backwards, trying desperately to regain her footing.
  Meanwhile, Nyura, starting to black out from the lack of oxygen, tried one final scratch attack.  It was unable to cut through the dustbin, but instead caused the bin to teeter.  Nyura noticed this, timed its attack and swung its claw with another scratch attack, knocking the dustbin on the ground.  Nyura dropped to one knee, catching its breath and furious as ever, ready for another round against Mime.
  As the dustbin lay helpless, Dusk (still unable to catch her footing) stumbled backwards and fell on top of the felled dustbin.  The dustbin was crushed by the weight of the blow.  Kanto's taxpayers and sanitation departments would later mourn the loss of the once triumphant dustbin.

Dusk: 83%

Dustbin: 0%, KO'd

Dusk rubbed her backside ruefully. "Sorry 'bout that. I had to do that. You would have killed Nyura."

<LET ME DESTROY THAT MIME!!!> Nyura screamed her fury.

"Err... and now I think Nyura want's to commit murder so you'll want to be on your guard. Nyura, Quick Attack!"

Joshua mumbled mournfully, with his back to the battle.

~Erm, Joshua, we have a bloodthirsty Sneazel on our hands and she wants to kill me, a command would be nice, but you know, I don't want to trouble you all day and...~

"ACK! The battle! Erm, Mime! Use Copycat so you can dodge out the way in time, and hopefully, Nyura will trip or bump into something along the way. Play it defensive!"</sub>

<OOC> What can I say I don't take the 'descriptions' that are given in the games about the pokemon too much weight.  The battles would be very much more decisive that way, i.e., "Sneasel used Scratch, tearing into Mr. Mime's flesh and dropping him down to the floor in a bloody pulp, lifeless from the loss of blood from that dreadful blow."  Besides, I think if we took those for face-value, the entire world would have probably been destroyed several times over with the power of some of the pokemon out there.  But, I disgress.... </OOC>

Nyura ran forward in a blazing streak of light towards Mime, who was starting to charge back towards Nyura.  Nyura then seemed to vanish for an ever-so-brief moment, reappearing with a vicious blow on Mr. Mime.  Mime recovered, not being able to use its attack in time before Nyura hit it.  Mime was injured, but not out of the battle, as it looked deep into Nyura's eyes and used its Copycat attack, flashing a bright light before zipping towards Nyura, hitting it with everything it had.  Nyura fell backwards, but got back up with a scowl on its face.

Nyura: 43% TAUNTED

Mime: 15% TAUNTED

Seeing that Mr. Mime was having a lot of trouble just standing, Dusk knew that it was almost down.

"Nyura! Quick Attack! Once more!" Seeing the murderous look on Nyura's face, she hastly added. "And don't spill it's blood!"

<Awww... no fair...> The Ice weasle muttered to herself as she leapt forwards.
