Crystal nodded at her Trainer and sped up and down the field, swiping her arms to cut the grass with the spikes that were embedded into the Lucario's hands. The grass slowly but surely was coming to a height where visablity was possible and they could pinpoint the exact location of the Exeggcute. Seeing as there location would be soon disclosed, one of the Exeggcute(Lv6 Male) used a wave of Hypnosis on Aqua, seeing as though she was the weakest of the duo. Aqua fell to the ground fast asleep. The next Exeggcute(Lv5, Female) waited until Crystal was close and used Barrage on her. Crystal felt her aura, but was still hit by the first two attacks. She managed to dodge the third one by running past her. She then circled back around with the Quick Attack she used to cut the grass. The location of the Exeggcute were now reveled.

" ME!" Jimmy said, coming from his hiding spot as the smoke cleared. He didn't seem that strong, but something about them didn't fit with him. Jimmy could sense them. " Team Rocket, I believe I heard of you guys. Terriozing towns, using Pokemon only as your weapons," Jimmy chuckled, " No wonder you guys are catching lower leveled Pokemon like the ones here. You guys aren't even that good. Let's skip to nice talk now and get straight to it. I'll battle both of you at the same time! Your not getting away for wht you....tried to do! Cyndaquil, Sentret get ready!"

Both Trainers had determaination to win this battle. This kind of determaination rubbed off on both of their Pokemon. The Pokemon eyed each other down, waiting for the other to attack first. Both were ready to dodge an attack and go for the kill. Bulbasaur acted first and ran towards Vulpix, zigzagging so Vulpix wouldn't know which way he was coming from. Vulpix tried to guess which way Bulbasaur was coming, but couldn't. As Bulbasaur came near, Vulpix let out a big Ember. Bulbasaur barely got a Tackle off before being hit by the Ember. Both Pokemon were hit. Both Pokemon were down. Only one Pokemon was able to get up, though, and that was Vulpix! Vulpix gained 5EXP! " I guess that's it then," Rowena said, returning Bulbasaur while tears rolled down her face, " Guess I have to find my way by myself. Good luck to you." She turned around and walked off slowly, head in her hands crying louding. She turned back occassionally to see if Kailon would change his mind.

" So these are the people messing with the Pokemon! And now there using them as a prize to their leader? Not while I'm here!" Jimmy whispered to himself. He then turned to his Pokemon. " Sentret, I need you to sneak over and cut the bag lose with Scratch! Cyndaquil, while Sentret does that, I nedd you to use Smokescreen. His Keen Eye should allow him to move through the smoke easily," Jimmy said, thinking how lucky it was for him to have this kind of comination of Pokemon at this time.

As they were traveling, Crystal began to sense a strong aura. It was an electrical one and seemed to be the aura of....BOLT!!! As Crystal ran towards where she felt the aura, Nicola and Aqua followed. Once there, they found Bolt. Around him, where a group of ten Pokemon, five different species. They seemed to have had Bolt trapped. 2 Exeggacute, 2 Spinarak(Who had Bolt wrapped up with String Shot), 2 Pidgy, 2 Zubat, and their leaders, 2 Pikachu. Bolt cried out to Nicola for help. Thinking that this must be here his Trainer, the Pikachu ordered the the Zubats(Both Male, Lv5 and Lv4) to stay back and fight. Everyone else followed the Pikachu deeper into the forest with Bolt.

Bulbasaur, seeing how well he was trained in the art of contests, gracefully ran over to Vulpix and attempted to Tackle it. It was time for Vulpix to start getting back in the battle. Vulpix, adding her own little touch to the battle, gracefully jumped over Bulbasaur to dodge the Tackle. She impressed Rowena, as she shouted out, " That was beautiful!" This was until Vulpix opened her mouth and let out a small touch of fire know as Ember, scrouching the little grass type bulb. Bulbasaur still fought through it, though. He was healed slightly by the seeds that were still piercing into Vulpix's skin. " No! No no no! I refuse to have to go through this by myself!" Rowena shouted, seeming as though she was about to cry, " Come on Bulbasaur, you can do it! Dodge and Tackle!"

*Crawls back* HAH! I survived!

Though Crystal tried not to show it, she was crying on the inside. Hearing her Trainer and her fellow comrade cheer her on made her feel nice. Even though Bolt wasn't there with them, Crystal knew that Bolt would be the same way. She was going to do all she could to find Bolt. But first, she had to finish off this nuisance of a obstacle. Bringing her palm back again, she brought it forward with a greater force than before, knocking out the Metapod. Crystal gained 4.5EXP!

Jimmy and his Pokemon just stood there, surprised, watching as the Rattata ran away. " Well, I could've of beaten it, but I let my emotions get to me. We'll find another Pokemon," Jimmy said. Just as he said that, a Zigzagoon ran out of the same bushes the Rattata did, with the same panic in it's eyes. Just like Rattata, he scurried away too. A few more Pokemon did the same thing, and Jimmy just watched as this ackward cycle continued. " Since there running from there, let's go that way," Jimmy said, pointing to the right side of the path. " We gotta find out what's scaring them. Cyndaquil, stay ready, Sentret, stay near me," He said to the Cyndaquil by his side and the Sentret on his head.

Everyone else posted, so.............

Sensing her trainer's regain of hope, Crystal smiled and quickly ran over to the well defended Metapod. Bringing her arm back and opening her palm, she quickly struck the Metapod with it, showing a huge amount of strength with the attack. The Metapod well back, rolling continously on the ground before being stopped by a rock. Metapod tried to get up, but he couldn't. He was unable to move. Metapod was now paralyzed. Fighting through the paralyze, he used a desperate move. Another Harden. Metapod increased his defense and made his body even more rock hard and hard to attack.

" *Sigh* Cyndaquil, fall back," Jimmy said to his Pokemon. He didn't know what it was, but there was something with Jimmy and Pokemon. He couldn't stand them being abused, used or even when wild Pokemon were frightened. Jimmy walked over to the Rattata and asked, " There something wrong? What's wrong little guy?"

Trying to will her way back into the battle Vulpix let out a nice Ember from her mouth, scroutching the vines from Bulbasaur's Vine Whip as well as causing a little damage to Bulbasaur. Since fire has a type advantage over grass, the attack was still Super Effective. The Leech seeds from the previous attack dug into Vulpix's skin and, unfortunately took away some of the Pokemon's health. Fortunately for Bulbasaur though, his health was regained by the seeds. " Bulbasaur, Tackle it this time! And watch out for Ember, I don't want to getting hurt. Remember our contest moves," Rowena commanded her Pokemon.

Before the Metapod could blink, the Lucario sped through the field and delivered a hard Tackle to it's rock hard shell, causing a significant amount of damage itself. The impact of the Quick Attack sent the Metapod flying through the air and into a rock for slightly more damage. Though still not completely fazed or worried about the switch, Metapod began thinking that the switch may be bad for him. He hid it through his black expression, though. Thinking of nothing else to do, Metapod raised it's defense even higher by Hardening it's thick shell.

After all the crazy mishaps that Jimmy experianced on Route 29(helping an injured Sentret and obtaining it, fighting off two Poochyena as well as two Pokemon trainers, and also teaching Taillow how to fly), it was time to get down to real training. " Cyndaquil, your up first!" Jimmy said, as the little Pokemon by his side yelled out excitely and the flame on it's back grew bigger. " First, we wait." As minutes rolled by, it seemed as there were no Pokemon on this Route. Soon, he heard a ruffling in the bushes. " Cyndaquil, get ready. Tackle it if it attacks."
