Starting Pokemon:
Thorne [Budew; Female; Bashful nature]

Background (150 word minimum):
The daughter of a wealthy Coordinator and a famous Musician, Herp has never known the hardships of effort. No real work – just the way she likes it.
That isn't to say she's completely spoiled. She's had the duty of watching over her little siblings, and they're quite a handful. There's that bratty little Steve, mild-mannered Greg and a very hyperactive Cat. Every day, Herp is supposed cook their food, wash their clothes, put away their toys, take them to school, clean their rooms, bring them home from school, cook for them even more, take them on walks, protect them from wild Pokemon, and put them to bed. Being a sister is a full-time job in the Cypress household.
Luckily, Herp has found an easy solution to feed her laziness: whenever she has a job to do, she tells her sister Derp to do it. And Derp is always happy to comply. Isn't that great? Herp has been taking advantage of Derp's naive nature for both of their lives, and her cheerful sister still has yet to discover this. While Derp skips around with the children, Herp reclines in a comfy chair and does her nails. Of course, there's nothing morally wrong with this setup at all! Derp likes to help, and Herp likes to lounge, so it's a win-win situation. Right?
...No?
Ah, who asked you?
Unfortunately, their parents don't see things in the same light. They've always frowned upon Herp's overly lax nature, and they've recently come to the decision that something needs to be done. Soon, Herp will be sent on a Pokemon journey in order to do something useful for once in her life; Derp will cheerfully come along for the ride. The two will be dropped off somewhere in the Kanto region while the rest of the family takes a vacation in the nearby islands. Herp is having a hard time forgiving them.
